Grad Cruise tickets available in the office

Grad Cruise 2017!

 

This year’s Grad Cruise is happening on Friday, January 27^th from 4:00pm to 11:00pm.  The evening starts off with pizza here at the school, followed by a three-hour cruise around the beautiful Vancouver Inner Harbour! 

 

Tickets and guest passes are now available in the office.  Please note that students will not be able to purchase Grad Cruise tickets if there are fees outstanding, or books which have not yet been returned.  Contact Mrs. Henry in the office regarding fees.  Tickets are $65.00

Information Sessions - New Students Grades 8-12

We will be holding information sessions for those interested in having their children attend LFAS for Grades 8-12.  These sessions are intended for those currently on our wait list and also those who have not yet applied.   Please note that those who are currently on our wait list are required to attend an information session before they will be considered for entry to LFAS.

Our information sessions will be on the following dates:
Monday, January 16th - 6:30 pm in the Chief Sepass Theatre at LFAS
Thursday, January 19th - 6:30 pm in the Chief Sepass Theatre at LFAS
Monday, January 23rd - 1:00 pm in the LFAS Library

School Start Up Letter

The School Start Up Letter has now been posted online.  Please refer to this letter, as we are currently having problems with our email system.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Sibling Applications for Kindergarten 2017

Please be aware that, if you have a child who is a sibling of an LFAS student and you would like them to attend Kindergarten in 2017 at LFAS, you MUST apply through the School District’s website during the first two weeks of October 2016 for Choice Schools (such as LFAS).  Information is available on the SD35 website at www.sd35.bc.ca. YOU MUST NOTE THAT THE CHILD IS A SIBLING on the application.  The system does not have this information. 

 

For any grade other than Kindergarten, please apply directly to LFAS either online at www.langleyfinearts.com or pick up a paper application in the office.  AGAIN, PLEASE NOTE ON THE APPLICATION THAT THE CHILD IS A SIBLING.

Hello LFAS families!


The main office is now open and we are working on our Welcome Back Package that will be emailed out to families on Friday, August 26th.  The package will contain everything you need for back to school at LFAS including how to sign up online for our School Cash online.


TO REGISTER FOR SCHOOL CASH ONLINE:

Step 1:    Please click on this link: https://sd35.schoolcashonline.com/

Step 2:    Register by selecting the “Get Started Now” and following the steps.

Step 3:    After you receive the confirmation email, please select the “click here” option, login in and add each of your children to your household account. To do this, you will need your student’s last name, first name, and date of birth and pupil # . Students grade 5 and up should know their pupil number as its their login for the library. For students grade 4 and under, you can call the school for the number, or wait until the first week of school when you receive your Student Verification Form which has the number in the top left corner.

Have you moved? Changed your email or phone numbers? PLEASE LET THE SCHOOL KNOW. Also, if you have a child on our wait list, let us know to change the info on their application.
